The Build Guild is a simple thing. A regular gathering of the web-folk with no commercial purposes. Talk web, design, industry topics, share some ideas, network and make professional connections, maybe pick up a freelance project or gig. Have a pint. Have 3 pints. Buy someone else a pint.

There are no keynote speeches. No formal agenda. No rules. Just people.

So if you're a designer, developer, strategist, project manager, information architect or even a hobbyist, come on out.

Organized by Chad Pytel – CEO of thoughtbot – Philly is the second expansion Chapter of the Build Guild.

The Founders.

The original Build Guild is run by Marc Amos and Fred LeBlanc; it was originally created by Marc Amos and Angelo Simeoni. It was started as and continues to be a monthly event where folks in the web industry—designers, coders, project managers, hobbyists, etc.—can get together to talk web, debate industry topics, share ideas, make professional connections, land gigs, and discuss the real reasons why mustaches need to make a comeback.

So where are we meeting?

Our meeting is at the Nodding Head Brewery & Restaurant.

Nodding Head is located at 1516 Sansom St. 2nd floor, Philadelphia, PA 19102.

When to show up.

We'll begin at 6:30pm on Tuesday, February 16th.

We're going to try to keep the date, time, and location consistent -- the third Tuesday of every month at Nodding Head.
